MOROCCO DAY 3- ACCULTURATION
My final day is Morocco was bittersweet. I traveled further through the Medina and visited the Palais Bahia and the Sabian tombs. I also visited the Koutoubia Mosque near Jemaa Al Fna which marks the middle of the square. Along the way there I did some souvenir shopping and bargained with merchants (if you are buying more than one item from the merchants you can usually get them to take off around 10-20 dirhams off the total price.
After leaving the Medina, I headed to the new city to catch the sunset and visit some of the nearby stores. I bumped into a promoter who offered me to come to Pacha Marrakech. It was such an amazing experience and the clubs looked like a palace. In their Moroccan fashion, the walls were big and elegantly carved and made of beautiful sand colored brick. The DJ mix was exceptional with very catchy beats and a great selection of pop-dance songs.
