What I Learned While Planning My Itinerary
Trip Planning can be annoying and time consuming, especially when you are planning out your fun but it is essential! Without planning you could spend a lot of your vacation looking at a map and feeling lost.
in just a few weeks, i'm headed to Europe and had to create and itinerary to organize my trip. It took forever and there were times my friend and I were frustrated but there is nothing better than knowing where you are going!
Here are a few tips I gathered while planning my trip:
1. Google maps is your best friend. Country hopping become ten times easier when you understand the distance between them. I had to switch countries to visit, out my itinerary to get the most of my stay.
2. Ryanair will be your preferred way of travel. If you're flying between countries in Europe most likely you will fly Ryanair. The flights are so cheap (as low as 30 USD) and it beats the lengthy ride on the Eurotrain which saves time!
3. Overnight travel can save you money. if you travel overnight you save yourself from paying for a hotel for a night. And that never a bad thing.
4. Less is More. This was a hard pill I had to swallow. I wanted to see everything in my two and a half weeks and had 6 countries in my lineup. Then I came to the realization that i would spend so much time traveling between countries and rushing through the cities I would miss the beauty of each place. ( Now I have 4 cities on my list -Copenhagen, Marrakech, Barcelona, Berlin)
Now that my itinerary is planned out I am better prepared to see the world. I cannot wait to share my experiences, tips and thoughts collected while wanderlusting <3
